Dress up in your favorite jammies and attend our flashlight story time and we’ll talk about  night time animals., read The Kissing Hand, and  make your own nighttime animal mask!  

Mix together the  ingredients for a tortilla  and then  roll out and bake them in the oven . Then we’ll sample a burrito filling recipe  and learn how to roll a burrito.  

Anyone who has turned in at least one reading log is eligible to attend our party and make an ice cream sundae.  Prizes will also be awarded for turning in the most reading logs, and random drawings will provide another

These books are great and the movies  they made from this series are phenomenal!  Participants will experience a variety of ways to enjoy this book including ebooks and audio books.  The activities will include make your own shield and sword,

Find our table at the back to school picnic, participate in our activity and pick up our September Calendar of events or maybe even  an application for your own  library card!  

Is an indoor/outdoor playdate at the library.  We have gardening activities  and yard games for outdoor play and board/card games , a kitchen playset or legos to play with inside.  

Work with local graphic designer Jeremy Dixon  to begin work on a graphic novel panel or panels .  We’ll use the ideas we came up with at our last session to begin drawing our characters and  develop our plot.  Thank

We’ll be reading Monsters Love School and We Don’t Eat our Classmates.  Children will practice lining up, being good helpers when passing out snack, and learn how to be good listener’s by playing Simon Says.  

During this meeting we will harvest what is ready in our garden and make an appetizer or a small side and celebrate the fruits of our labor!
