Punch Needle Embroidery Workshop

Discover the relaxing and creative art of punch needle embroidery in this hands-on workshop for teens and adults. Participants will learn the basics of punch needle techniques while creating a small “mug rug” or coaster to take home. Mug rugs are perfect for protecting surfaces while adding a cozy, handmade touch to your space.
This program is beginner-friendly, with step-by-step instruction provided throughout the session. No prior experience is needed, and all supplies will be provided thanks to funding from the Keuka Area Fund. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with textures, colors, and simple designs while learning about the history and uses of punch needle embroidery.
In addition to learning a new skill, this program offers a relaxed, social environment where participants can create, chat, and enjoy some mindful crafting time. Space may be limited, so early arrival is encouraged. Join us for an enjoyable afternoon of creativity and leave with a finished project you can be proud of.
