Birds, Binoculars and Bingo

Spread your wings and discover the fascinating world of birds with educators from Cornell Cooperative Extension! This fun, family-friendly program explores how birds have adapted to survive through their amazing beaks and feeding habits.
Participants will experiment with a hands-on challenge using different “bird beaks” to see how well they can gather various types of food—just like real birds do in nature. Afterward, we’ll head outdoors for a Birding Bingo scavenger hunt, using binoculars and observation skills to spot local birds in their natural habitat.
Whether you’re an experienced birdwatcher or just beginning to notice the wildlife around you, this interactive program is a wonderful way to connect with nature while learning about the incredible diversity of birds.
