Council on Alcoholism and Addictions of the Finger Lakes
We offer brief anonymous screenings that consist of two simple questionnaires about drug and alcohol use. These screenings aim to normalize open conversations about substance use and educate individuals on their potential risks. Our goal is to reduce harm and prevent future substance abuse through education and motivational support.
We believe it is important to reach every person in our community. The SBRIT screenings are designed to impower the 70% of individuals who will not develop substance use disorders, as well as to offer free services to those who are at risk. The Council on Alcoholism and Addictions of the Finger Lakes offers ten evidence-based programs at no cost to the public making support for every community member accessible.
