SUMMARY:8-Hour Shelter Pet Collection Drive
DESCRIPTION:In honor of National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day\, the library will host an 8-hour collection drive to support the Humane Society of Yates County. \nCommunity members are invited to stop by and donate much-needed items to help support animals in the shelter’s care. Donations such as pet food\, toys\, cleaning supplies\, blankets\, and other pet care items are always appreciated. \nAdding to the excitement\, representatives from the Humane Society will be onsite during the event with adoptable dogs\, giving visitors the chance to meet some of the animals currently looking for loving homes. Even if you’re not ready to adopt\, it’s a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the shelter’s work and show support for the animals they serve. \nWhether you drop off a donation\, stop by to meet the dogs\, or simply want to learn more about helping local shelters\, your support makes a difference for animals in our community.
